Betty Davis is a UX Designer who is driven towards helping people; she enjoys creating Visual Design andpracticing / learning from UX Research. Betty is currently working at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise and is ​available for projects related to Product Design, UX Research, and Visual Design. She resides in Sunnyvale, ​California.

Betty holds a UX Design certification through Springboard, SF (April 2018), and has taken courses in HCI from ​UCSD, and Design Thinking from IDEO. She is a Certified Scrum Product Owner (September 2019), and a ​LUMA certified instructor (May 2022). Betty enjoys learning from O’Reilly Media - she recently took a webinar in ​Critical Thinking. Betty is also a strong advocate of Agile and Lean as well as practicing Servant Leadership.

Betty holds a BFA - Bachelor in Fine Arts from California State University, San Jose (Dean's Scholar). She also ​completed coursework in the Universidad Veracruzana de Arte, in Jalapa, Veracruz, Mexico where she earned ​a merit scholarship to study abroad at University of New Mexico in Albuquerque for a semester. Betty was ​born and raised in Veracruz, Mexico. At the age of 21 she relocated countries and colleges on her own and ​worked her way through college. She is the first in her family working in a large technology company.

Betty finds her inspiration and colors in nature and loves exploring, finding, and trying new things, specially when ​it comes to creative tools...and food!. A couple years ago, she rescued “Coco” a pitbull terrier from a local ​shelter. Betty also likes to volunteer at her local parish and donates her drawings to be auctioned for Latin ​American youth programs.
